Making it so that you can choose your status to specific people on your list would be a good idea. You should be able to make it so that you can be busy to one person and online for another yet on the phone with another............. Good idea or no?
Good idea.. its such a good idea that it's been requested before. Unfortunately this just isn't possible because of the way messenger works, and retrieves statuses. Sorry
