Hey, in trillian theres a nice feature where u can sort your contacts in your contact list by name, email, blah blah blah.
This will be really good if it was in msgplus, coz then itll be easier for me to find the contact im looking for

msn already sorts your contacts by name or email

Msn messenger itself has the option to sort contact by name or email click on contacts -> manage contacts --> view contacts by->
and u can choose by emailaddress or display name or better u can rename ur contact to whtver u want by choosing the rename option provided by msgplus

Yes its possible to sort contacts however theres some problems when using user-assigned usernames. When you set messenger to sort by name it sorts after the real msn name or by email. Cant figure out which. And thats kinda frustrating!

i dont really understand wht u r trying to say but

if you wanna rename a contact just right click then click on the contact then messenger plus extras and then rename

and if u wanna make it easier go to preferences after clicing on plus ->contatc list -> custom contact names

u dnt need to make any changes on how msn messenger sorts it

if u wanna just rename then dont change how msn messenger sorts it just change it on the msgplus preferences

This hads been suggested before. What hee's saying is that the custom names in the contact list be in register order. I dont know why this was turned down, but it's probz that it cant be done. The only soloution  can think of is that if you're looking for rachel for example, keep pressing R to get to the R's straight away That's what I do.

Sorry, i should of made my post a bit clearer. And  i didnt expect that many replies so fast. Anyway this is what i mean:
Like say u got ur custum names, and ur groups or whateva so it looks like this:
Online:
Bob
Joe
Alex
Jill

Offline:
Smith
Dude1
Dude4
Dude0
Dude2


Yer, well it would be good if there was a feature to sort them alphabeticly by ur custom name.
so it would like like this:
Online:
Alex
Bob
Jill
Joe

Offline:
Dude0
Dude1
Dude2
Dude4
Smith


Yer, well will this become a feature or not
And also another cool feature i know is in trillian is when ur logging ur convos, the last 100words or whateva show up in grey in ur new convo.

This has been asked many times but it just isn't possible to put in to MsgPlus
