I'd like to have to ability for Plus to close down convo windows when a buddy goes offline.  We can already get Plus to show us a message, so having an added option on top of that would be great.

What do you think?

I think this would be a problem, because if somebody signed out before you read their last sentence, then you would have to read the caht logs to read what they said, it would be hastle, therefore, would be a poor feature to use.

Good point.  I had completly overlooked that.

Maybe have a time limit? So say that the convo has been inactive for 5 minutes, then it closes automatically?

It can open a window that the chat window will close in (seconds), and then it can have a timer next to it

so you  can either keep it or let it close on its own

Say my friends on MSN and i'm apparently "Online"; but not at the keyboard.

My friend leaves me a message, that message then timesout and the box closes.

How will I ever know my friend left me the message? Start reading all chat logs when i come back?

It's a good idea, just needs work.
