In the old msn plus you could change, now the option did disappear. Where can I change the message?

Firstly: It's MsgPlus, not MSN.

Secondly: This is a deprecated message that doesn't appear anymore in the newest versions of MSN Messenger. You can still change it through the registry (on the webside you're told how to, search).

In fact it's deprecated bevcause you'll only see that message 5 times. However you can still change it editing the registry either manually or with my tweaker. Search or use the link in my signature .

But:

A) you can change it so it will always show...
B) You can change the message for all users on your computer (using the Messenger registry key IMWarning)
C) You can change the message for only 1 user on your computer (using the Plus! registry keys ChangeSecurityWarning (set to true) and SecurityWarningTxt)

PS: although Patchou explained in that thread why it is taken out, I still don't understand why, because as you can see, you can still do stuff with it (always showing - 5 times showing, per user showing - global showing)

How about new msgplus downwards compatible with older msn versions? I still would like an option to change the text to something else. Even it was only for the older versions of msn.

I can't see my sister changing the registry, that would be terrible...

There is a program made, PlusTweak, which will allow you to change Plus! registry settings from a user interface, so you can only change the Plus! settings and won't touch any other parts of the registry.
