one more thing I wish to know is how to show a dialog (made in vb too) when I use the command /xabout for example.... can anyone teach me?

If you don't know how to do that, then please stop this project you are doing right now.... STOP!!!
IT will just get all messy and you wouldn't have learnt anything of what you have been programming.... I've spent 7 years in VB and I just started 6 months ago, hooking and finding hwnd's and stuff like that.... so please... do your self the favor and try learning how to show a dialog first, and try to do some more research on vb before you go into such "advanced" projects....
