Umm, why not allow us to use the [thread=12345] code in our signature? I would make us have more room, ect. Instead of taking up a lot of length.

You mean linking a thread by it's number instead of the whole url?

That's wrong because the [thread] tag is replaced before submiting changes to the DB. I mean: if it would be allowed in sigs, it'd be changed before changing your sig so you wouldn't have more room. Also, the [thread] tag is there to help you in writting less while you're typing a post. If you change your sig, you can write all the [url=bla bla bla]bla bla bla[/url]

So your saying that even if it was enabled in signatures, It would replace the [thread=123987] code with the URL code? I didn't knwo that.
