why does stuffplug ng replace the msgplus symbol on notifications? my notifications are set to show up for certain people fru msg plus not stuffplug ng

it doesn't. it uses MSN messenger-styled popups. they're not msgplus popups.

what? they used to have msgplus symbol on, not the 'sp' int he top left

because now they're not msgplus popups any more. as i said, they are MSN-styled popups.

i belive patchou uses his own popup engine where tb uses the system already in msn. he just replaces the icon

Basically, that is saying that someone has opened a convo, and that means you're using stuffplug ng, and when a convo is opened then stuffplug popup is used, therefore a sp logo. If you used to use openconvo by wouter, then to disable the stuff plug notifier go to Plus > Plugins > StuffPlug > Configuration

Non are replaced, not at all. The old Messenger Plus! toasts and MSN Messenger toasts are still around...In that image you show the "contact has opened a convocation with you" toast...that is currently available with StuffPlug and not Messenger Plus! on its own...Therefore it's only a feature of SPNG and not of Messenger Plus!...as you see, nothing is replaced, only added
