Well, I was thinking earlier, instead of us posting these massive, several hundred reply threads every month with our desktop screenshots in them, why don't we just include them in our user CP? Put some kind of selector on screen resulotion so a properly scaled thumbnail appears, and a link to the full size shot? Of course there should be a max file size, but over all, what do you think?

well like I said, there should be a file size limit but I mean we do thos threads every month anyways....

and if it is decided the servers don't have enough room, we could make it so they are hosted on outside servers/hosts only.

yes i think its a good idea tbh it should be added it would make the site unique and whats with the language in the poll options we have young people in this community eg me and i dont like to see/hear those words

To know somebody's pc specifications is not interesting at all to me. Why would i care if somebody has either a 286 or quad Athlon 64 system, so i would vote no for that. Desktop looks nice, but it don't really see the point in it yet, so that would be "Why the fuck would I care?".

The desktop thing is cool (there's probably not enough space for that here though ), but I don't like the specs thing for the same reasons as MenthiX... I just don't care about other's specs, really. I like my computer nice and fast but it just needs to work...

That's just a total unusefull feature.

This idea is really good, I think it would be easier if you hosted the desktop yourself though, or get someone else to host it, because then you won't have DZ or anyone being pissed off with the pictures on server.

not really usefull. the only place i can see this usefull for anything would be someplace like bit tech forums
