Yes, there is ways of cheating, and I know the ways how. There is a script going around that x3 your strokes. No, I don't use it and if I did my count would be high which it aint. Yes, I do no the people who are cheating and they will not be permitted in participating in our team. Hence they have made another team.

Cheating always was and always will be a problem at pulse projects. Project Dolphin which has been around much longer then WhatPulse has these problems too. I have already seen ready-to-go tools and source codes to automatically cheat, it's just very easy. Even when there would be a perfect security system then all it takes is to build a funky device from Lego that smashes you keys while you are away .

Bottom line is: What is the fun in cheating anyway? Just join to see your personal real score. It's not like we can compete against the big teams anyway. Keep it fun!

I can assure you that I'm not cheating people, as i can't be bothered to write an essay down, i'm just gonna post a chat log.

When making webpages using good old notepad (which I do), this often gives you a good count afterwards. Thats how my count can seem high. The whole point is to get your count high . (But cheating takes the fun out of it...)

I did a test;

I uploaded my current count then quickly typed into notepad and uploaded again within a space of about 15 secs or so and I got a message along the lines of: cheating detected, you can upload in 1 hour. (not exact words I can't remember as I don't cheat.)

(Although, this doesn't stop cheating with simple key pressing.)

Usualy, Jren, it don't pop up a message saying your cheating, ect. I gives you a message to try and pulse later.

(I'm forgetful...)

I sometimes forget Whatpulse is there, since I have it as "Always
hide" in the taskbar.  Anyways, since school has started for me, I'm
sure people have started to write essays... Or be doing something
like coding/scripting, and playing PC games. :]
