well i just though that seemed wrong, grammar wise. Wouldnt it be "every day" instead of "every 1 days" because one isnt suppose to be plural?

The number is probably a variable.

Any number other than 1 would work fine, so the MS coders didn't bother making the word "days" a variable too.
