How to enable MSN's log and disable PLUS's log?

To enable MSN messengers
Tools==>Options==>Messages==>Automatically keep a history of my conversations

To disable Plus! logging:
Plus!==>Preferences==>Logging==>Untick automatically log all my chats by default

I have done it.
But once I hava installed PLUS, MSN's log feature hava no effect. No matter disable or enable in options dialog.

Make sure you have a valid path name in the box under "Automatically keep a history of my conversations"...
