In vb how can I detect when a contact change his/her status?

Please dont say, Do this then hook that, I wont know what you are talking about I dont code in vb, Just a small demo will be fine

im just wondering why you wanna do it in vb when its already in plus!
right click contact name> Messenger plus! extras> notifications...

Maybe I want to do more then just play a sound lol
