I don't no if its any thing to with messenger plus but when u start the computer and the icons a apeer down beside the clock msn msn messenger is just a black box and crashes

is there anyway round it

jus close msn and start it agen...i find it works after that....theres no patch that i no of so cant help u there....it normally happens to me wen its automatically signin in and i click the icon to load msn messenger, the cpu usage goes up and then it goes black and stops responding.....just restart msn, see if that works
