today i went to the windows update site, and i was updating my windows service pack 1, to service pack 2, and it was almost done installing, but my computer froze, and now it is slow as hell and it says i have sp2 installed but it didn't fully install, and when my computer froze i had to restart, after it did, i got a message saying that sp2 didn't install properly and i would have to go to add/remove in the control panel to uninstall it, but everytime i try to click on add/remove, i get an error message, and i even tried doing a system restore but that didn't work.
i eve nwent to safe mode to try and uninstall the service pack but it wasn't sucessfull,
and when i go to the windows update, to try and reinstall the service pack it only shows that i need to update the .net patch 1.1, but that doesn't even want to update.

any help is highly needed!!!

the update that it keeps telling me to update is Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1

First of all Service Pack 2 , seconed whats the error you get?

Hmm... There is a microsoft technet article describing how to remove SP2..... I'll try to find it a little later, but in the mean time, try a search for removing SP2 on google.
