I know for 100 % that this is fake. because microsoft uses allways special lines effects,colors and lots of text.
When you use messenger more than 3 years you can see what real and fake is.

And make a fake yourself that looks real so that no other who's used it more than 3 years could see it's fake?

Even for being Fake, i'd use it (and im 100% against skins/concepts like this)

Kindly someone please change the name of this thread, it's misleading. This is _NOT_ MSN Messenger 7. This is just a concept, a made up design, morecommonly known as "you've been photoshopped".

That is true, but people seem to think it's an "official" fake. "MSN Messenger 7" is misleading, people tend to ignore "concept" or any other words following that and assume it's an official client or something. I know I'm right, because the posts in this topic provide enough proof I am.

Display pictures on the MSN contact list looks a good idea, but I don't like the colours and the convo window.

2 syllables: AWESOME!!! I hope there is a MSN Messenger that comes out looking like that!

I hope not, although it may look "awesome", it also is inpractible...
Far too much space is "wasted" with graphics and things...

The contactlist for example, it may look good with the DP's and even useable if you have 10 contacts or so, but you need to scroll a LOT if your contactlist has more then 10 contacts (not to mention 100)...

Conversation window: 3/4 graphics and 1/3 actual conversation? Nice if you have very short convo's and don't talk much. But in practice? I don't think so....

It looks good in a static screenshot, but it would be very inpractible...
