You could just go to www.msgicons.com and click the MSN Backgrounds link for some ready made backgrounds which are pretty good. Heres what mine looks like. My MSN

Yeah buts it's really hard to get the tint no? , so dont u have to save it as a .jpg but put it into the lvback.gif?

No, that wont work for any image, or even for any file for that matter.... The file extension is not what makes the file, it is the content... I can name a JPEG whatever I like, it still will be a JPEG...

CrystalMSN is a WindowX MSN Messenger skin, get WindowsX MSN Messenger at http://www.windowsx.org/enhance/msn6/download.html
It's for MSN Messenger 6.2.0133, so not build 137. Don't know what's new anyhow..

It has to be a GIF saved as a gif... That's about as complex to comprehend as it gets.. =P

static of course.... animated background GIF's are not possible. the lbvack.gif is read as a static GIF, no matter if you have it animated or not...
