When i try and use the quick text, *so and so* offers a milk chocolate bar to *so and so*, this happens....



And after i type somthing, this happens....



Note that the real persons name is:

~~~~JORI~~~~.......NEVER FEED SEAGULLS

And i am using this quick Text: /me offers a (!FC5)(!FB)milk chocolate bar(!FB)(!FC) to (!FC4)(!N)

Using latest Plus! and MSN Messenger, Win XP Home SP2

O god....i found the problem!

I am using the Word filtering feature for "says:" both in sending and reciving directions, so it doesnt show it after your name, once i took that off, it worked! no problems, or messed up emoticon code!, i still think this quallifies as a bug though

Does this always happen? Well, Patchou included a watch-dog function that prevents the texts from being messed-up usually two/three "says" after the disorder occurs. If this happens very often, be sure to tell us

someone reported this before (i think it was raceprouk) and if I remember it correctly patchou told you it was about to be fixed.

Well... you're not supposed to filter says.... I'll "fix" it in the next version be not allowing this kind of filter to be created

Keep in mind the different languages.

Keep in mind you can manually do it in the registry.

If Patchou makes the "fix", then Plus should discard any "workaround" to this made in the registry. However languages are a problem here.

not realy, it is a stringvalue in msgslang.dll, so this can easly looked up (if that is the method he used)....

You're right, sorry, it seems that half of my brain is disconnected...

Of couse that's the method I use... pfff... I vote for a temp ban on Cookie.
