from where can i get win xp sp2! i mean from where can i dload! i tried turing on automatic updates, but still dont get sp2!

I guess it's because it's not availeble in your country yet.. in my country it also isn't availeble yet so you just have to wait...

SP2 should be available over Windows Update. If not, then you can wait: it's not the uber-upgrade people may think. In fact, some companies are putting off getting SP2 because of software incompatibilities. It's also created a problem with Plus (albeit a minor one).

I live in portugal and its not available to me too

if you are using any style programs or anything then I wouldn't get it, its not compatible with them, if you ask me, its good and everything, but its just hastle, because you've paid money to register these programs like stylexp, and they don't work at all.

Service Pack 2 is already out in many languages; however, it does not always appear on the Windows Update page already.

If you desperately wish to download it, you can go to this page; at the bottom of the page you can select other languages.

Please note that this download is 271 MB in size and meant for IT Professionals and Developers. If you are not one of those, it is recommended to wait until the update becomes available from the Windows Update center. That update will also have a smaller file size, as it is more suited for your computer.

I donwloaded it from he link u gave me what the hell this sp2 does ? anyone here knows the direct link to the realease ntoes or something i dont wanna search im busy now.
