I've gotten this chain-message from many of my contacts in the past two hours. It states that Thursday, this week, MSN will be down for 7 days.

Is this correct or just scam? I haven't seen this on any MSN Messenger site, that's why I'm suspicious.

Well i think its just spam because if MSN has you tell you anything or convey any kind of message) it will be either on the website, a message on your msn messenger, or a mail on your hotmail (from microsoft
msn does not beleive in any kind of chain letters so please don't ever beleive in them

Microsoft skint this month are they? Need everyone to chain mail one another...

sowwy for this spam..i just couldn't resist (it's too funny)

haha, only a fool would believe this...Most likely someone past around a fear of MSN going down, due to as it was before a few times before...Chinese whisper effect has lead to this and then boom someone jumps on the chain mail scam...

I usually don't believe in chain messages (and I hate them), but since MSN has been down the latest days, it could have been some truth to it.
About chain messages; often they are the fastest way to spread news, but not from Microsoft, of course .
