Alright ive had bout enough of the threads asking and i too would like to see it and not a reply about a link to a thread bout programs that do it. So who would like to see this plugin that can capture webcam video happen? Maybe if we all support it a dev (coughcoughihopetbcoughcough) will come along see that there are many people who would like to see it and dev it. Thanks

I say yes, merely because some of my webcam convos get interesting and the person on the other side wants it recording.

I suppose if they wanted to record the sound, then it would have to be an extra addon, cause when its recording, i presume it'll try and detect the sound from the speakers and a lot of the time it'll just record noise, cause audio is messed up at the moment.

I used several external programs to do that but it's just stupid.

What programs did you use to do such a thing mate

Camtasia here...
it sucks cause if you move or resize the chat windows u have to move the litle box.
and whenever another window goes on top u will be recording that windows litle square instead of the video on the background

Hmm... I was just thinking.... Wouldn't it be possible to use another method than capturing the webcam area, as most programs do.... But instead, sniff the data being send, because it would definetly have a connection to internet, so wouldn't it be possible to "hijack" or sniff this connection and then get the data being send?.... then you wouldn't have all the trouble with mouse cursor being captured and stuff like that....?... I don't know if this sounds like a good idea but I was just wondering... ..
