i am not sure if its possible .. but i heard it frm my friend that he saw a moving nick in the chat window ... he had nothing installed with him .. i mean no Messenger Plus whatsoever .. then i thought it would be simply awesome if it was going to be as a plugin for Msg+

btw did he have proof that this was possible .

it used to be possible but im pretty sure that theres now a limit on how many times you can change your name per min

Messenger discovery does that.

indeed. This limit exists for a long time now. You can only set your nick a few times per minute.

And because of this, those "moving nicks" wont work. Btw, there is nothing special about it. There are just spaces added and removed from the nick so it appears to be moving.

eg:
"my nick"
"  my nick"
"    my nick"
"  my nick"
"my nick"
"  my nick"
etc...

Also, all those nickchanges will flood the server and are very annoying for the contacts who are notified with each nick change (using Plus!'s buildin notify feature for example).
