I recently just cleaned my computer from Adware & Spamware.( Thank God! ) That was about a week ago. Yesterday, I just downloaded Messenger Plus! 3 and the adwares came back. One of the adwares is ads1.revenue.net and another one is mysearchnow.com. It's really causing my computer to lag. Now I have to find them and delete them. Please remove those two items when you put a new Msg PLus for downloading. It's really ANNOYING!

It looks as though you have installed the optional sponsor program. It is really easy to remove by following the instructions in the link here : http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21598

ya I tried this and got an error message on the uninstall and now plus 3 uninstall isnt in my add and remove list... and I havent ran my adware remover since the plus!3 install

install msg plus again WITH the sponsor.. Then all the files will be overwritten and you can uninstall .. Just remember not to run adaware before you uninstall.. It will cause problems AGAIN..

After u do this, you can install msg plus withOUT the sponsor and you are good to go

When you do that, if it still doesn't show up in add and remove programs (and only then!) you may use this to remove it http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe...

If Messenger Plus! doesn't appear in your Add/Remove panel, it's probably because you didn't have admin rights when you installed it. In that case, it created a shortcut in your Start menu to uninstall the software.

If you can't find that link then:

1) Click on Start;
2) Click on Run;
3) Type: "c:\program files\messenger plus! 3\msgplus.exe" /uninstall
(the path may be different though, make sure you type the correct path);
4) and press enter.
