If you want colour in your nickname, type /nick in a conversation window, hold ctrl and hit k. A box will then appear, you will then be prompt to choose a colour. Once you have the colour of your choice, and you see the character, type your nickname after it and hit enter. Voila, you now have a colourful nickname for you and your contacts with plus! to enjoy. (if you'd like different colours, ctrl+k between each letter)
