I wanna make my own truetones/realtones upload em to the net and then download (Via WAP/GPRS) to my phone, they are in WAV format

But i just tried with this http://weebltab.kaonet.net/Spunge.wav

and it said the ERROR data too large (or similar)

so does anyone here know how to make a truetone/realtone for this phone? do i need a special format/program or what?

Any ideas would be great thankyou

Well Firstly, not all phones can decode all files. Are you sure your phone supports .WAV

Seccondly, a phone's memory is generally not too large. The largest memory I've ever seen on a non-PDA phone was about 3 mb. I checked the Siemens website, but couldn't find the memory size. Mine has like 200kb of memory for ringtone downloads. Some phones only alot ____ kb/mb for ringtones.

Try chaning it to MIDI form, some phones only support that for downloads.

i can record ringtones using the phone and they are in WAV format

my total space atm on phone drive A is 0.97MB out of 2MB the song file i uploaded is in 7kbs i think and its 28 seconds long its like 220KB i think, i dunno whats not right, it wouldn't let me download



either and thats only 23kbs and my phone supports .gifs

Well phones don't support all encodings. Usually they require a specific one. Also, your site is not WAP designed...

no but you can access the file by its full extension name (thats what i did for my logo, sod paying £2.50 for a transparant logo when i know i can download spacer.gif for free

meh i dunno what is going on with it
