Hey guys,

Im hoping u can help me, I am using windows 200 professional, and for some reason Msn comes online for a while and then it appears offline by itsself.. It is becoming so frustrating, i have tried everything to fix it.

Can anyone help me out please?

I am using a dial up connection and am home..

It changes to appear offline, by itself?
Go to Plus! --> Preferences --> Miscellaneous
Is Automatically change status after a period of inactivity ticked?

Thanks for the post, But i have just realised that i posted in messanger Plus..

I have plain old MSN!

Would there be a similiar fix?

  are you using a Proxy for your internet Surfing?

No im not, but i am running a firewall!

But i have unblocked msn, so access is permitted!

Its frustrating!

Are you sure your connection isn't cutting out?

Have you tried Configuring Proxy or whatever in the Connections tab in Msn Messenger  Options
