RE: Programs out of screen range
Normally there should appear a arrow on the bottom (and top) so you can scroll thru your list. Close the menu and reopen it...
Anyways, I think it is time to reorganize your programs if the list has become too long. (eg: group all graphic programs in a submenu "Graphics", regroup all security programs like firewalls, virusscanners, etc. into a group called "Security", etc...)

RE: Programs out of screen range
Cookie, I got another question.
How can we make the files/folders in my documents shown in columns instead one 1 column, so we don't have to scroll it down to see another files/folders

Cookie, hope you don't mind if I answer this one
If you're talking about the start menu, right click on your start menu and click 'Properties'. Click 'Customize', then click 'Advanced'. Under 'Start Menu Items', scroll down and uncheck 'Scroll Programs', then click OK twice to exit the windows.

The same (kind of)... reorganize your file/folders on your HD...
Otherwise, what do you mean? detailed screenshot please?

Only if he has the default menu layout of Windows XP. When you use the classic menu, this wont do anything... (hence I requested a more detailed screenshot of what he has)

RE: Programs out of screen range
As you can see and you said before, there's an arrow at the end of the screen.
I want my folders in My Music shown in columns, and, yes, I got my "Scroll Programs" unchecked in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.

Well, that same arrow will be there in your programs list when you check "scroll programs", if you have the default windows XP menu that is! (cause I still can't see what kind of menu you have: classic, or XP style. But I think it is XP style, judging from the small part we can see on top of the menu and from the leftsides of the submenu's.)

Impossible*. That list is nothing more then the physical list that is on your HD, so you need to go reorganizing that on your HD if you want everything in 1 list and without the scrolling.
* Maybe not entirly impossible with some registry tweak. But I don't know any tweak that can do this. Also, if such tweak would exist it probably will also list everything in your start menu into columns, not only that specific menu.

I'm not talking about the theme. I was talking about the style of the Start Menu. There are two types: the classic style and the new XP style.
