I had downloaded the Messenger Plus 4 days ago and today i opened the msn messenger i saw this:

Msn messenger or windows messenger is working without msn messenger.This also may have happened cause of programs installed on this computer.And maybe other programs will not be working as expected

Also asked me to install again Messenger Plus or try to fix it for ever..


But why did this messange appeared???????it didnt appear only once i have seen it many times..

Can someone answer me to this please???

Uninstall MSN Messenger + Plus! then Reinstall MSN Messenger, and Plus!...If that doesn't work uninstall Windows Messenger and reinstall it...then does it still happen?

does this message appears cause i got Service pack2?Please gimme an answer if possible

Not likely. But it could be a variable added to this problem. Just try what I said before and does that fix it?

This has nothing to do with having Service Pack 2 or not. Some programs like SmileyCentral interfere with (some functions of) Messenger Plus!, so it's possible that they caused it if you have any of such programs installed

what is the smiley central?

And Anubis i cannot see if it works cause i had already reinstalled it when the message appeared

Any other explanation can be given for this problem??

See http://www.smileycentral.com. Apart from the fact that Plus! and SmileyCentral are known to not to work well together, SmileyCentral also comes with adware programs.

Could be other programs, could be a one-time-thing. If it doesn't happen all to often, just ignore it. I've had it myself a few times as well

i dont use the smileycentral why did u say it to me??

Some people mention the same problem but don't say that they use SmileyCentral, while that is what causes the problem because they use it. I was simply making sure this wasn't the case here

Wen i use Smileycentral it make my messenger plus go funny as well
