O.P. the /snoexcuse command
hey guys,

first of all i'd like to say to patchou and all the people envolved, in plus! about the great job their doing... keep up the good work

well I have a doubt, I don't know if you remember in a earlier version of Plus! about the /snoexcuse command, it was one of the emotions sounds... and one of the funniest... one of my favourites

my question is... why did this command, sound, whatever, was cut out from the recent version of plus! ?

could you reconsider that? re-introducing this command?

and btw... a good feature for newer versions of plus! (i don't know if it is already possible - I think not -) would be the possibility of making our personal emotions sounds...

take care...

RE: the /snoexcuse command
Here's an old discussion about it:
http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=23567&page=1

Patchou's post in that thread says:
"Yeah, let's keep a lot of sounds and make Messenger Plus! a 10Mb download .

The sound of /snoexcuse was replaced to be more useful to most people. I have no problem letting you use the old sound (exceptionally) in a plugin. I left the same command name because it has the same primary meaning and because of backward compatibility reasons . "

RE: the /snoexcuse command
If JuKa means, the (very) old Japanese sound, yep I would like it back also. But for the reasons posted by Chrono, I doubt it will come back.

Or it could be that JuKa doesn't mean the old version of the /snoexcuse sound, but the fact that /snoexcuse doesn't work anymore...
But in that case: the command is changed to /sdanger. (and this will hold the newer noexcuse sound)

For those who can't follow, read the thread pointed out by Chrono ;)

yes I do mean that emotion...

but (patchou) if u put new sounds in this version... why take the old ones? (this one) i only make this thread to see if there are a good number of people interested in seeing the old sound back... not a bunch of them... just this specific one...

but of course now is kind of a suggestion I know that maybe this is off-topic but at first it started as a doubt, that  Chrono already explained, (i got to tell ya is kinda lamme excuse it is just one sound... it wouldn't make plus! a 10mb .exe)

vote pple ;)

I removed that sound because it didn't make any sense for most people :). It was replaced by another sound from a Japanese anime, however, yawns are more universal ;)
