I think this is a Messenger 7 thing, but when a blocked contact comes online, then I don't get a notification for them, but I do get one for an unblocked one. Is there anyway to get notfications for blocked contacts?

its not a msn 7 thing, you don’t get a notification in messenger 6 either !!!! (well i don't think u do anyway)

erm....well u could make messenger plus notify u when they change they status. Right click on the contact and go to messenger plus extra, then select "notifications" and select the ones you want

I just want it for when they come from Offline to Online, not any other status changes. I'm pretty sure Messenger 6 did it, cuz I was using it until a while ago and I didn't notice that it didn't.

is there really something like that? i sure it will be extremely useful for this

i think it would be useful also, mesenger 6 did this also.

yes well u can use the messenger plus notifications for that. just select  "when contacts sign in" (and if u want, also select "when contact goes offline")

Would I have to set it up manually for each contact that way? [I'm in 'Notifications' -> 'Sounds' tab]

I've tried checking 'Notifications' -> 'Popup Defaults' tab and 'Enable MP! Notifications when contacts sign-in'.
