Hi,

I have been having a problem quite recently with my MSN when I try to send or recieve files, or view webcam. The file sending seems to have sorted itself out but the webcam remians a mystery to me. I have tried most things I can think of. Windows Firewall is the only means of barrier, but that is configured so that MSN is allowed to run.



This problem occured a while ago aswell, I was told it could be a problem with my msn and msn plus, so i uninstalled Plus, and re-installed MSN, and it worked without Plus. I then re-installed Plus, and it still worked.

If anyone can help, or suggest something, then that'd be great.

( another thing aswell, on my computer, when ever i sign in to msn, my contact list takes 30-40 seconds to load, and during this time it freezes up. this is only a problem on my computer, as on others it signs in within 5 seconds, and loads my contact list instantly.)

What plugins do you have?

Hmm sometimes plugins cause messenger to freeze while trying to display the cotact list, but not in this case....
