ive been saving for the last 4-5 months and im getting £100 for christmas so i will have about £500 to spend.
i was going to get a new computer but now ive decided i may as well just "pimp" my current pc so can anybody recommend some really nice upgrades i can buy

What do you need the upgrades for?
Games?

any sort of upgrades to make it better

my current spec:
AMD 2400+ 2.0GHz processor
80Gb HDD
nVidia GeForce 4 MX440 64MB graphics card (will probably upgrade this)
DVD/CD +/-RW drive
15" TFT Screen

graphics card should be your priority there
How much RAM?

If I were you, I'd upgrade your processer and get a bigger screen 19" lol..

256MB im gonna prolly upgrade it to 1024 if i can afford to (shouldnt be too expensive)

I might upgrade for 512 to 1024 also, as I want to have an uber pc... I might also upgrade my cpu and get water cooling .  I'm checking pcworld at the moment for some amd athlon processors, shouldn't be too long doing it now, if I can find anything reasonable, then i might save up to by some things just like you. I also need some new speakers .
