Once upon a time, guests could post on these forums, but now this notice is useless because they can't anymore...

I think that guests can't see you signatures, but I'm not sure ...

It's just that myBB comes with the feature of allowing guests to post. However the string is kept the same always, it's not really useful to do something about it. If they did, they could simply strip that checkbox when the user's not registered, and it doesn't.

Well yeah, but as guests can't post anymore, it's useless to have the "registered users only" notice there, guests can't even see the newreply.php or newthread.php.

It's just a little edit...

There are 3 posting pages (thread, reply, edit), so 3 places where it would have to be edited out.

Then people would find other guest-friendly things and tell me to remove them, using this as a "precedent."

Be happy you ARE a registered user and you can use that functions.

Better that than being able to see "Move / Copy thread (Moderators only)"
