Can Mess Plus do this?

I like to see the ip address too of my contact

No, and it's impossible due to the way Messenger's protocol works, this has been discussed several times before... (check Block checkers DO NOT work).

Well if they want they can use mess plus to do that. there's an option in the drop down list or he/she can type (!IP).
The option in the list is by opening the convo window and going to plus then insert special tag and then current ip. Tell yr friend to do that if they agree and u wanna see it.

What purpose would you have for this?


If the contact wants you to see his or her IP they can put (!IP) and msgplus will find and display their IP in a contact window, but there is no way for you to force them to show you their IP.

I don't think there's much u can do with someone's ip (legally) except know their isp and in which city they are in. Thats all i can think of neways.

but its got nothing to do with them being blocked or not, and if you can talk to them you know that they are not blocked :/

also, you can find out if you are on their list, go to Tools > Options > Privacy > [View]

Hes prolly using it for gaming or something i dont think it is illegal.

according to wat i know, there're some programs being used to track ip address, however, these programs are not out in the public, it's used by the FBI in the america to investigate internet crimes
but i dont think there are any avaliable to the public

anyway, why wont you need someone's ip?

I think he wants it for hacking or DOSing
