themeMSN is a programme that I am currently developing. Basicly it will allow you to download a skin, then easily change between all the MSN Messenger Skins you have downloaded.
Its curently being tested and will hopefully be released within the next couple of weeks.PLease let me know of any comments you have and for more information visit thememsn.tk.

so we cant download it yet.

btw a feature i would like is a Image browser.

you choose the image you want to use, then choose what you want to use it as.

eg Contact Buddy icon or Contact list background, and it sets that item as the picture you selected.

sorry to say but this isnt the kind of thing it does, its not for making/editing skins its for chhoseing between different skins.

But he has made a good suggestion dude, you could add a preview image of the skin before you download them

You know

hmm fukafly do I know you?because iv only told one person about that... previewing the skin before download is a future feature that I will either be adding in the final release or I might leave it and get the full release out first then work on that. and at the moment im not clever enough to get it to use a menu in messenger itself I am working on making like a little 'concept' kinda image of how I hope it will look/do in the future.

i'm also on the mess.be forums and you said that we were all in after my post

okies your all in, could you each send me an email so that I can keep you all up to date.

I have delayed the beta by about a day so that I can add an updater, I should have it ready by tomorrow morning

so all it does is copy the edited msn files over to the msn directory or does it extract all images from the skins and apply it in memory?......

Fukafly i meant about the preview image part the beta is just about ready, will email you it sometime tonight

im not not sure weather this would be possible because some skins change more then just the images, some change the hex, and others change sizes and layouts of the images,  and if it is possible im not skilled enough to do it yet.

basicly it stores the files, in the msn messenger directory, and then you can easily change between each skin. Its pretty basic, but its a project that I hope to improve over time, as I learn more.
