Well hi, Since I'm using messenger 7.0 I got a weird situation there.
I receive my logfiles also in 'received files from others' as xml files in a file named history. My previous e-mailaddress was hacked and the hacker sent me a file, which I opened. Is it possible that this log files are related with this hacker???? That he can read all this logs??? Or is this an option in messenger plus, which i have chosen? Who can help me with this?
There are two logging options you can use. The first one is built in into MSN Messenger itself. This logs your conversations as XML files as you described. Disable it by going to Tools > Options > Messages and uncheck the option to save a message history.
The other logging option is the plain text logging you can enable in Messenger Plus!, but that's unrelated here
