O.P. Suggestion: Pop-Up notification window
Sorry if this has already been suggested or if its accually already in Plus! but i was wondering if maybe a pop-up window can also be put in Plus! besides the toast when someone is online or whatever. AIM and Yahoo have it so MSN should have it as well......

Not in Plus!, and I don't think it has been suggested before. 
Personally, I don't like it. But it can be optional, like in Y!IM.

What do you mean with 'notification window'? You can currently set Plus! to show pop ups when someone signs out, changes status or changes nick already if that's what you mean.

No, he doesn't mean the toasts. He means little "windows". Like a JavaScript message box.

Exactly thats what i mean and of course "its optional" (copyright Patchou 2005) 
It could be a nice addition. Maybe it should be done as a plugin instead

I dont think its a good idea, if you mean having a message box, which says ok. I already get annoyed by having message boxes telling me a cd has finished writing or whatever, especially if im writing something in word, or doing some work.
The toasts are good i think because they dont steal focus, but they still get your attention.
Maybe a registry option would be good. But other than that, no.

It annoys me too but it makes sure that if i go away for a few mins ill have popups of important people to me that have signed on. Yea event log could also be used but i just find it to be a pest of a feature having yet ANOTHER window floating....
Does anyone like this idea???? |
