O.P. Tsunami Charities
As you all may know about the tsunami in the Indian Ocean and around that area, a lot of people have been affected by this natural disaster, some of you may not even bother with such an event, but it is such a serious matter that I am urging all of you to try and do whatever you can to support these people, they are in need of severe aid from countries all over, they may suffer disease, they need the proper care, and for this, they need money.
As you may also know is that Patchou has done a very kind deed and donated $1000 to the red cross in the name of all users at the messenger plus! forum, this will definitely be greatly appreciated, many people have been lost in this tragic event, but over there, new life is beginning, and for them to lead good lives, they need your help.
We urge you to do anything you can to raise money for such a needy cause, Saral is setting up an event to raise money for this, and all of the funds will go to the Prime Ministers appeal over there, I am going to personally try and set up events in aid of the Indian Families and all others affected.

RE: Tsunami Charities
Basically, what i am doing is setting up a benefit night, £10 per person, or £30 for a family, and you get a dinner, dance and some entertainment (in terms of entertainment i was probably thinking cultural dances from the each of the areas affected). There will also be a raffle, all profits will go to charity and we should be able to raise quite a lot of money this way.

Really good. Is this in uk. i guess it is. Here children in schools are going 4m house to house collecting money for the cause. Even i did some. How much ever u do is less i guess. But countries like sri lanka really need it.
