I installed the latest update that came with MSN and opened MSN, it opened but when I tried to access it it just came up with that loading icon and I couldn't click anything. Then after a while of doing nothing, Plus comes up with the attachment below.

Yet when I closed MSN and Messenger Plus with task manager and then reopened Messenger, Messenger was fine. I'm using MSN Messenger version 6.2.0205 and Messenger Plus version 3.25. I'm on Windows XP Service Pack 1.

EDIT: Edited it to 3.25 as opposed to when I put 3.45 by accident.

Messenger Plus! 3.40 is for use with MSN Messenger 7.0, I'd use Mesenger Plus 3.25 which you can download from www.msgplus.net, or you can download msn 7.0 beta from http://messenger.msn.com.

it also works with lower versions of messenger tho, so shouldn't cause problems i don't think

Try rebooting your computer, does the problem still happen?

It is a BETA, so it may not be as stable as earlier versions with some computer settings...

Oops, I apologise, I did mean 3.25. So it's not working with that either. I also installed 3.01 and it doesn't work with that either.

after you have click to open messenger, do u try clickin in the system try to try open it ?? if so just let it load by its self (it may take awhile) does the error message still come up ???

also what plugins do u have installed ???

Uninstall msn messenger, and uninstall messenger plus! then download Messenger Plus! 3.25 and MSN Messenger 6.2 and reinstall, if the problems persist, then I'm not sure what to say.

I've uninstalled each about four times and in different combinations (Such as install msn then plus, then install plus then msn) and different versions, it's a really weird bug as it only started happening when I downloaded the latest update.

I'm just letting it load on its own when the error comes up.

Plugins I have:

Audiator
ColorNick
Handwriting
Hopper
StuffplugNG

One thing I haven't been doing when uninstalling though, is removing the old user preferences and removing plugins, should I try that?

Give that a shot, and if that doesnt work try downloading the new beta from these forums because that may work with your messenger.

Ah, it's working I uninstalled it all yet all the plugins are there, however it's working now. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
