anyways, while using the beta, if i click the image that opens the contact card and the person has SPNG's window open notifier active (under any MSN version i think), it tells them I opened a conversation window... not really a problem, but a bug nonetheless

Its a limitation. When MSN downloads the display picture it is classified as a conversation window being opened. There is no way around this.
