My alienware needs a new graphics card and I need advice on what to get. Used to have a Nvidia GeForce 4600.

That requires PCI Express. Unless his PC is brand new then he won't have PCI Express.

the X850 is better, but u need PCI Express... if money's no issue, then get this aswell:

You still haven't answered our question - does your computer have PCI-Express (which is not just the standard PCI slot)?
