You cant talk to contacts while your status is set to appear offline

But you can block some one and still talk to them using Stuffplug - NG

I don't know about that but with StuffPlug NG you can talk to blocked contacts and so you appear offline (as you do when you block someone). You can talk to them and they can talk to you as long as you have a conversation window open with them.

Invisible status seems to be impossible in MSN Messenger -_-U.

I think what it is is when a contact is offline you can post a messege to him/her and send it, then when your contact next comes online, he/she will be able to view the message and same the other way round. You can do it on Yahoo Messenger and its a bit like the come-back feature in plus but you don't have to be online for your contact to view the message and again the same the other way round.
