Custom names do not show up when i have turned them on, and set contact display by email addresses

Only the email addys show

that's weird because Custom names usally only work when you set your list to show by e-mail ( it's even said in the preference window )

" Enable Custom Contacts Names (activates "view by e-mail") "

So.. I can't help you there, ty restarting msn messenger and msg plus! maybe that would do it..

I wont say more cuz I dunno more ..

Plus automaticly sets display by e-mailadress, you don't have to do this manually.
Do u have any Custom Names set or are they all blank?

i have custom names set for all of my contacts
worked before last night, after a reboot it stopped…
however the event log window showed the custom names

after restarting both apps - it works fine now… strange
