Just a general reporting as to say that the "Do not publish this sound to others" Doesnt work...

Yes it does work. What you probabally mean is when you add it and play it to other users it will still play, this is suppost to happen. When that box is checked the sound is not sent to the sound server, and can not be randomly downloaded from hitting "new random sound" or by looking at the hash at sounds.msgplus.net

The sound will always be sent to the server. You are correct that it does not show up in stats listings and when using the random sounds feature, but every sound gets sent to the server.

but my friends i send the sound to get the sound in there list after i have sent it...

That is normal behaviour. The only difference between a private sound and a public sound is that a private one cannot be received when someone uses the 'random sound' option, and a private sound will also not show up in lists on http://sounds.msgplus.net (in the statistics).
