Oh thats what that was.  My firewall picked up something being sent while installing Plus.  Glad to know thats what it was.

Not sure, but doesn't Plus! always send something at the end of the installation? And you will be forwarded to Plus!'s page?
Maybe, when your/our firewalls pick up something being sent, it just tells the server that a Plus! has been installed in someone's PC.
