It depends, if it was true, how far it's gone through. If it was just in the theory stage and they haven't actually done anything practical no computer shop would even have a clue. If it's gone into a documented idea, they would know, but by that time the information would be all over the internet...

well givre it time an im sure it'll be leaked on neowin.net or wherever soon enough if it is true, but time will tell if it is true or not

When I read about I almost had a heart attack.  This better not become paid or there will be a revolt.  But if it's true will Windows Messenger be paid to?

if msn is windows messenger prolly would be to but like this says with limited functions. i dont see why windows comes with windows messenger anymore anyway because some of it doesnt even work ie the email checking says it needs ANOTHER update after you update it at first, and then links to a page that says that ms no longer supports it...

As I said before on this thread, it was a sad try at an April Fools joke... the original article being dated March 31st

If it was a joke I wanna hear it from the orginal poster
