Hi!!!
I'm a new Messenger Plus user & it's a great soft!!!! But actually, I'm having a problem since I installed it.

Each time I launch MSN Messenger, windows messenger is launched too though it does not sign it.... & When MSN signs it, as soon as I open a conversation window, it crashes...

The only way to prevent it from crashing i found out is that i as msn messenger has signed in, I have to exit the windows messenger that has been launched... & then open a conversation window...

Is this a known bug or is it just me having this?




I run Win XP Pro SP1, MSN Messenger 6.2, & actually I have uninstalled Windows Messenger!!!! But it continues to be launched

to disable Windows Messenger signing in, open Windows Messeneger click on TOOLS > Options > an in GENERAL an untick the Top Box  then reload MSN Messenger an see if the problem still exists

Did what u said.... but problem is still there...

reinstall windows messenger and set it to be disable....maybe because you uninstalled it it isnt disabled anymore because that option was uninstalled?

It's ok now... I uninstalled MsgPlus, MSN & Windows Messenger... Then I installed MSN Messenger & MsgPlus back again... Problem solved... Thanks anyways for replying!!!

Please reinstall windows messenger aswell. Reason: lots of things depend on it (remote assistance, whiteboard etc.)
