Hello,
My `sounds' play sometimes and sometimes they don't , I get server cannot be contacted  or you may have a problem with your security settings message, However my buddies can send me sounds they all play but the ones I don't have will say download. If it is my security settings I don't understand why I can use them and download new sounds from time to time.  I have wireless internet 24-7, windows xp 2002 with service pk 2, Norton systemworks 2005, & plus 3.50. also beta messenger, Another thing I don't understand is if I download them to my puter y I can't use them like the other plug-in sounds, I really need help figuring this out I'm to the point of deleting it and I really enjoy it when it works, Laughter is the best med after all. Please help!! Oh and another thing, I am blonde so please speak s l o w l y....lol, To all who reads this.. Have a great day.

do u have ntl internet?

im on ntl internet and have the same trouble, any ideas?

Maybe that's getting in the way? I myself have never liked Norton, after one of their products wrecked our family computer a while back.

i ahvent got norton so cant be that for me im afraid

i have ntl and until a couple of days ago my sounds werent working either, theyve been ok since that though.

note: at the moment i think the sound servers are under maintenance

I believe the new servers are up and running, so there shouldn't be any more problems (hopefully).

We are having some issues at the moment and the server is on quite the roller coaster ride, One second it is up, the other it is down. Were working on it and you will notice once it's working again properly

I was having the same problem earlier and I'm with NTL as well. At first i thought it was Norton but I guess not.
