I wonder if anyone cn help me.  I recently installed Messenger 7.0 (Beta) and Messenger Plus 3.50 on a friends computer.  When you click on one of the contacts to start a conversation, there appears under the Send button two tabs called Type and Handwriting (I think).

I have installed exactly the same versions at home but i do not see the same two tabs.  Can anyone offer any reason why?  Thanks

did you use any patches before you updated to this version? there are patches that can get rid of this tab

i reccomend uninstalling msn completely (from remove/add program menu) and installing it again.

Thanks Jao, but I did uninstall both Messenger and Messenger Plus before I installed the new version

hmm.. i'll check it out on the web, but it could be a bug in msn beta

sometimes strange things happen for some people and not for others with beta versions.

but i'll be back in a bit, after i check this out

Download "Ink Redistributable" again and it will be fine...

(exit messenger and finish it totally before installing)

At least that's what i did with msn 7 and it was fine...google it...
