What do you think is it a good idea or a bad idea to adveritise on msn messenger?  I read this article and thought I would get your feedback

While not the best strategy in my opinion, Messenger and Spaces are free, and MS is just trying to make a little money to keep those services running.

Yes, I've tried the conference, it has a cool feature where it goes into full-screen and you can see everybodies webcam in one window ...

Is the picture quality much better then in the earlier versions? and where is the advertising?

That's going too far, IMO... we shouldn't have to look at crappy advertisements in the most-used window of the program...

That's my thought exactly mabye someone out there will design a patch to hide it all

Why do you think they're there?
Anyway, they've been there since an early beta.
And there are already patches to hide it all. Just look around.

i dont want their to be ads. Those are annoying. They should find other way to make money. Bill gates has enough to share.
