In the new release of messenger (7.0.777) when a contact has a emoticon in they're personal message, and you have a custom name for them it messes up the top off a convosation window. See screenshots:

well thats a problem with the custom name part i think

Yes, it's the well know limitation of customnames. You can see personal message as part of original name.

Does the emoticon also not show in the name when chatting (not talking about top in convowindow here)?

Also, is your conversation window at the fullscreen size?(doesnt look like it in the screenshots) If not, give it a try and see if it changes anything

It's not really a limitation, rather a bug... That isn't fixed (as it was in all of the other betas with PSM included)..

Hopefully it'll be fixed though, i sometimes got the emoticons of others in the middle of their emailadress... things like "myname@myisp.com" ... looks kinda strange

I cant check because plus doesnt append the origional name in the chatwindow.
